The Doris Lessing Discussion Group is designed for the exchange of information and ideas about the work of British writer Doris Lessing. Though the discussion will be largely academic in nature, it is open both to academic and (to use Virginia Woolf's term) "common readers." Topics may include Lessing's past and current work, her life and its relation to her work, the movements that have influenced her, such as communism, radical psychiatry, Sufism, etc.
